[Eisfair] [eis-2] apcupsd funktioniert nicht mit smartups 1400

Hallo NG!

Ich betreibe hier ein eisfair-2 (base 1.7.6 und Kernel 2.6.38-8), der an 
einer APC Smart UPS 1400 hängt. Diese USV hat zwei serielle 
Monitoringanschlüsse, die zur USV-Notfallsteuerung dienen.

Ich habe das apcupsd-Paket installiert, aber bekomme aber keine 
Verbindung zustande.

Es wird das originiale Kabel verwendet und der serielle Anschluss vom
Mainboard verwendet. Auf einem Test-PC mit Windows XP und Ubuntu 11.10 
(32bit) bekomme ich ebenfalls keine Verbindung zustande.

Peter Schiefer aus der Newsgroup konnte sein APC Smart UPS 1400 
ansprechen. Siehe [1]!

Meine Konfiguration

Es ändert auch nichts, wenn man bei APCUPSD_UPSCABLE 'smart' einträgt 
oder den eisfair bzw. Test-PC mit angeschlossenen Kabel neustartet.
