sda3 konnte nicht als ext3-Datei-System gemountet werden. Ist klar, ist 
ja auch ext4.

sda3 (/) wurde als ext4 gemountet.

Mir scheint sda2 (sprich swap) das Problem zu verursachen. Steht ja auch 
da (Possibly non-existent or swap device?).

Nach dem abarbeiten der initrd und mounten von root (sda3) wird 
/etc/init.d/boot ja schon von sda3 aus abgearbeitet.
