vielen Dank für Deinen Tipp. (Warum bin ich nicht selber auf die Idee
gekommen, das Problem "direkt in einem Alpine-Linux-Forum/Newsgroup" zu
recherchieren? :) )

Hier ist die Lösung:

Damit startet das Alpeis-System einwandfrei! :-)
Ob es das fehlende "insmod gzio" oder die fehlenden Modules in der
Linux-Zeile waren (inbes. das "sd-mod"), kann ich nicht sagen; hab's
nicht überprüft.

Kleine Anmerkung: Was mir anfangs nicht klar war, dass bei separater
Boot-Partition die "root=" Angaben im menuentry unterschiedliche
Partitionen meinen. Nämlich in "set root=(hd3,mosdos1)" ist die
Boot-Partition gemeint und das "root=/dev/sdd3" in der "linux"-Zeile ist
die Root der "Alpeis-Partition". Statt /dev/ssd3 kann auch eine UUID
angegeben werden, die kit "blkid" ermittelt werden kann.
