Verzichte doch erstmal auf TLS/SSL im lokalen Netz bei smtp und pop/imap.

Dann sind allerdings reine Mail-Passwörter für alle Mailuser notwendig:

MAIL_USER_USE_MAILONLY_PASSWORDS='yes'
