[Eisfair_dev] hpaio scannen ja, aber Drucken NEIN!?

Weder waren die archlinux-wiki-Seiten [1] noch die -Pakete sane-airscan, hplip-plugin noch hpuld

Der letzte Absatz war auch bei mir unter archlinux zutreffend, daher manuelle Installation via
https://www.openprinting.org/download/printdriver/auxfiles/HP/plugins/

$ file hplip-3.23.8-plugin.run
hplip-3.23.8-plugin.run: POSIX shell script executable (binary data), self-executable archive, Makeself 2.4.0

Was diese makeself-run-Datei im Detail und im Hintergrund verändert, kein Plan.
Seit der Installation ist der "error" weg und mein Scanner schnurrt am Archlinuxclient.
Das alleinige Kopieren der Daten
/usr/share/hplip/scan.py
/usr/share/hplip/scan/
/usr/share/hplip/data/firmware/
/usr/share/hplip/data/plugins/
vom Archlinuxclient auf den eisfair1 zeitigte leider nicht dasselbe Ergebnis, immer noch "error".
Die hplip-3.23.8-plugin.run zu installieren mag ich nicht, weil keine Deinstallationsroutine vorhanden, wenn 
ich nicht irre. Oder wird das restlos abgeräumt, wenn ich hplip deinstalliere?
Hast du eine Idee?
