[Eisfair] apcupsd will nicht mehr

Hi,

nachdem die USV bisher immer schön vom EIS bedient wurde, hab ich
heute festgestellt, dass da irgendwas klemmt. Allerdings weiß ich
nicht warum. In /var/log/messages finde ich:
 Lock file data error: ^U6^F^H
 Lock file data error: ^X8^G^H( ^H^Hÿ
 apcupsd FATAL ERROR in device.c at line 71 Unable to create UPS lock
file.   If apcupsd or apctest is already running,   please stop it and
run this program again.
 Lock file data error: (¹^G^H—^B
 apcupsd error shutdown completed
 Lock file data error: ^U6^F^H
 Lock file data error: ^X8^G^H( ^H^Hÿ

Google sagt mir "könnte zweimal gestartet werden, aber dann wird nicht
das lockfile gelöscht, mach mal von Hand" aber das führt nicht zur
Lösung.

Was könnte der Grund für die Meldung sein? Berechtigungsprobleme im
/var/lock Verzeichnis?

Das sieht für mich aber richtig aus:
