Das sieht alles völlig normal aus.

Was sagt folgender Einzeiler auf der Konsole (nicht anderes passiert
grundsätzlich bei der Kernel-Installation):

if [ ! -f /boot/kernel ] ; then echo kein Kernel ; else echo kernel ok ; fi
