Hi Holger,

als root im Terminal eines Desktop-Linux (Mint) ausgeführt, USB-Stick 
ist angeschlossen, aber ausgehängt !

modprobe loop
mount -o loop 
/home/uwe/Schreibtisch/eisfair-3.4.23-6.6.3-VIRT-x86_64-cd-image.iso /eisiso
mount: /eisiso: WARNUNG: das Gerät ist schreibgeschützt und wird daher 
im Nur-Lese-Modus eingehängt.

Note:
Booting from this USB stick can take several minutes due to the size of
the initial ramdisk image. During this time the system appears to be
