Hallo Christoph,

ich sehe gerade das es eine neue Chrony Version 3.4 gibt mit neuen
ONOFFline commands.

Vielleicht könnten die zur Lösung beitragen.

Hier ein paar neue Commands: 
- onoffline
The onoffline command tells chronyd to switch all sources to the online
or offline status according to the current network configuration. A
source is considered online if it is possible to send requests to it,
i.e. a route to the network is present.

-offline 
If the server will not be reachable when chronyd is started, the offline
option can be specified. chronyd will not try to poll the server until
it is enabled to do so (by using the online command in chronyc).

- auto_offline
With this option, the server will be assumed to have gone offline when
sending a request fails, e.g. due to a missing route to the network.
This option avoids the need to run the offline command from chronyc when
disconnecting the network link. (It will still be necessary to use the
online command when the link has been established, to enable
measurements to start.)
