[jacorb-developer] New project lead for the JacORB propject

Dear all,

 

With now only very limited time to contribute anything substantial to the
development of JacORB, I believe it is time for me to hand over the role as
project lead for JacORB. 

 

In the core team, we believe that Nick Cross is exactly the right person to
lead this project. Nick has been active on all fronts for many years, and is
both the technically competent and trustworthy figure that is required to
lead a friendly open source project like ours. I am grateful that Nick has
agreed to take on this job! 

 

Please continue to support JacORB, and Nick in particular, in the way you
all have done for so many years now.
