[jacorb-developer] Invalid naming service objects and duration of checking them

Hi,
Some of the objects registered in the naming service are invalid sometimes (the application which registered them quit without unregistering them because of a crash or bug...)
It took a long time (some 10 of seconds by object) to contact one of these objects and then find out that it is invalid.
So i wanted to know:
- Is there a way to know if a registered object is valid quickly and before invoking any call on one of its member
- Is there a way to minimize the waiting time before invoking a call on ana invalid object and getting the exception. In other terms what are the parameters I can change in the jacorb properties file (my guess is jacorb.retry_interval jacorb.retries)
