Obwohl ich keinen 1und1-Account habe, habe ich meine Fetchmail-Konfig mal
etwas gefaked und den Connect zu pop.1und1.de versucht:

Vielleicht kann das Jürgen interpretieren.

Es ist auf beiden Mailserver IPs der gleiche Effekt.
