[Eisfair] System startet nicht mehr nach einer Neuinstallation

Ich habe das System neu gebootet aber leider hat es nicht geholfen :-(

Unter
"https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Partitioning#GUID_Partition_Table"
steht was von "If you are installing on older hardware [...] consider
choosing MBR because its BIOS might not support GPT."
Das Mainboard ist schon etliche Jahre alt! Das BIOS scheint die letzte
Version vom 14.04.2010 zu haben. (LF94510J.86A.0278.2010.0414.2000)

Könnte das der Grund sein?

Falls ja, macht es Sinn von gpt auf mbr zu wecheln?

Falls ja, wie geht das?
